'02 Juan Gil: Excellent; very difficult to beat for the price ($14).

'03 Juan Gil: In a tasting with 2001 Muga Reserva (Rioja) and the 2001 Allende (Rioja), I found the 2003 less appealing than the '02, the nose was a little fouled with herbal notes from the outset, and concentration failed to overpower it throughout. Somewhat disappointing.
